Q. We live in a joint family. Can you please advise us on the directions of the bedrooms for our three sons?

A. Your sons can choose between south, west, north and east. It is better to avoid the northwest and the southeast sides.
However, just the placement of the rooms is not enough. The house must be designed according to all vaastu rules. Otherwise, the effects will be unpredictable.
